With its focus on improving early child care education, in September 2018, The Janet Namme Educational Foundation pledged its support to Tulip Orphanage Planet Foundation. Located in Ibeju, Lekki, the orphanage cares for up to 50 children. It also runs early child development programs for the children who live there.
JNEF committed to support the salary of one teacher who provides training to young children aged one to six years. Additionally, the foundation committed to pay the school fees of two older children.
As the orphanage had an immediate need to properly secure its property, the foundation provided a new gate to keep the orphanage residents, staff and teachers safe.
This commitment to Tulip Orphanage Planet Foundation will last for a minimum of three years with the possibility of extending support. The photos on the left, show the orphanage’s custodians – Mr. and Mrs. Ayinla, Chioma (Executive Admin) and JNEF’s representative - Uche Okoro.
